mixed feelings about the stay
firm pillows bright room
the location was good, with access to nearby attractions.
the pillows seemed like overstuffed sacks and i barely slept the first night.. the room was too bright because of the car park lights shining in until late.

Fantastic Stay!
free parking helpful staff
I appreciated the on site free parking it was super convenient. The hotel showed distinct character and the room was both clean and quite spacious, which really adds value (a definite plus!). The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything. Breakfast was lovely with many delicious options.
I found it somewhat difficult to locate since the road lacked clear signage directing to it. This caused a little initial frustration upon arrival. Better signage could really improve the first impression.

The room featured a four poster bed adding a touch of elegance to my stay. Plenty of lighting options were available ensuring a well lit space. Central heating kept the room cozy and comfortable throughout my visit.

The staff worked hard always ready to assist guests at reception or during breakfast service. Their helpful nature definitely enhanced my overall experience. They ensure all the guests feel welcome and taken care of.

The location provided easy walking access to town making exploration simple. It is situated just a short distance from the bus terminus and railway station. The harbor and the main bustle of the town are steps away.

underwhelming stay, some issues need addressing
dated decor noisy road
the location was convenient, close to amenities.
the room decor felt dated, and the carpets looked worn. also, the noise from the main road made it difficult to sleep with the windows open. i think they need to upgrade those rooms badly, .

Really good stay
convenient access generous selection helpful staff
The location provided convenient access to local attractions. Breakfast offered a generous selection of items, which i found very satisfying. Staff were helpful and very polite. I liked the on-site parking. It was hassle-free (and a relief in a busy area).
The television was partly obstructed by a bed post. This made viewing from certain angles difficult. It was a minor inconvenience. Otherwise everything was spot on.

hard pillows stained booklet
The pillows were excessively firm. a post partially obstructed my view of the television. the waste water sounds from adjacent bathrooms were audible throughout the night. I also heard staff handling glass bottles late in the evening. the hotel information booklet showed visible stains.
